About the team
Originally known as Mile X Meteors.
Entered Norwich League Div 2 in 1948.
1st Track was on Council triangle alongside Norman Infant School, Brasier Road, Norwich.
Track length approx 65 yards.
2nd Track was in Coronation Road, Hellesdon.
3rd Track was at Galley Hills(later to be the home of the Galley Pirates).
4th Track was behind the Firs Stadium(Norwich Speedway), this being laid in 1949, and thereafter used by many teams.
Club Manager: Billy Clarke(who managed many of the Norwich Clubs during this period).
Club colours: Black Ace of clubs, with red lettering on silver background.
Racing took place on a Monday Night.
Club disbanded in 1951 due to many of the riders being called up for National Service.
League division two champions, promoted to division one.
