About the team
Originally named the Kenton Hawks, changed name when they moved tracks.
Track was a disused tarmac tennis court near to the Preston Road Railway Station.
Raced at home in the News Chronicle Team Championship on this track, but due to complaints from local residents, permission was withdrawn for use of the track.
Raced in the Wembley & District Winter League Section 'B'(1948).
Raced in the first round of the "World" Cup in 1949, losing to Cranford Stars(Middlesex) in the 1st leg 52.5 - 41.5. J. Coleman scored 14.
Returned to the Northwich Park Track, once again becoming the Kenton Hawks.
