About the team
Track was in Moat Wood, on the outskirts of the village.
Team formed in 1946, being based near Uckfield.
Raced non League in 1949.
Team Colours: Red and Silver.
Starting Gates and Breastplates made by Tony Warburton.
Track Record: 13 seconds from a standing start for one lap.
One of the matches ridden in 1950 was on grass at the village fete, where the track was marked out by flags and a dropped handkerchief was used to start the races. These exhibition matches at the Fete continued for many years. They also raced at Lower Dicker against Hellingly Lions, plus against an Uckfield team in a sand pit by the Highlands Pub in Lewes Road.

A cup was given to the club by Leslie Jones of Park Corner Garage.
A second track was built beside the above garage, but was only used for practise.
