Original track was off Green Lane, Ecclesfield. The track was built on land owned by a Commercial organisation(probably a refinery), and without permission.
2nd track was on Foxhill Field, in Foxhill Crescent, next to the Fox Public House.
Shared this track with Wadsley Lions after the loss of the Ecclesfield track.
Track Dimensions: 90yards x 5.5yards, red shale surface.
Club Colours: Black/White striped shirt, Blue Body Colour with Yellow "Crown".
Club Secretary: Miss J. Lodge, 44 Norris Road, Sheffield 6.
Club Manager: Mr R. Simpson.
Raced in the Sheffield League 1973.
Interesting Facts.
Paul O'Malley's son is the Bass Guitarist in the Arctic Monkeys.
